A Open Letter To East Kalimantan’s Governor
Samarinda, 19 April 2016
Assalamualikum wr. Wb.
Dear Mr Awang Faroek Ishak
as Governor of East Kalimantan.
First of all, this open letter is written on the purpose to complete our English task in SMAN 10 Samarinda. As student we hope you always healthy and also we have say very thanks to you because you can lead this government well.
Dear Mr Awang Faroek Ishak.
We always support you to build a better infrastructure, because good infrastructure can prosper in society, and also people can build more trust to the Government. However, the building of the infrastructure that you working on it feels not so evenly. The example is the city of Balikpapan.
Balikpapan is more advanced and have adequate infrastructure, such as the international airport and the sea port with a capacity of the largest containers. In addition to the means of education are also more adequately, such as the Institut Teknologi kalimantan which is built from ITS that already popular in Indonesia and the senior high school that the level has been reach national. Though the city of balikpapan is only in municipal-level that should the level of this progress was mediocre as a usually small town. While Samarinda who has become the capital of the province is not experiencing rapid advancement and inadequate infrastructure (lack of education and the international airport are still lacking). Even if we were in Balikpapan, we feel welcome and wanted to live there. We are not mean to blame you because of Balikpapan city is more ahead than the city of Samarinda, but Samarinda city should have already given infrastructure as well as of Balikpapan. Besides, we also hope that the infrastructure that has not been done can be finish earlier.
That’s our open messages that we made, our deepest gratitude that apologizes to Mr. Awang Faroek Ishak if there is words that are less acceptable. Thank you
Regards,
Sigit Sanjaya and Fahreza Rifqi Pratama
